What do you like about your job and the company?
No day is the same here at TUI. I have been really lucky to collaborate with TUI CAN ( Caribbean & African Network ) You may have recently seen in the news that TUI Airways had 2 flights depart , One from London Gatwick to Montego Bay Jamaica and the other from Manchester to Boa Vista Cape Verde . This was to celebrate Black history at TUI . As a black TUI Employee it felt great to take part in such a history making trip! This has motivated me to inspire more potential black candidates to join TUI. I love how diverse TUI is! From including pronoun badges as part of the uniform guidelines to hosting Cultural events through out the company. As mentioned before no day is the same as a travel advisor at TUI, Some days you might have a couple wanting to book their dream wedding or a group of friends wanting to book their first ever holiday. Being able to bring the holiday life and see the excitement on the the customers face motivates me to carry on and get the job done. As a travel advisor you are given great perks! from money off holidays to late seats on our flights! TUI has given me the opportunity to travel and see the world! Even though I love my holidays, Every TUI holiday I am lucky to go on is always a learning curve for me. I always look forward coming back to work and telling my team about the holiday and what customer type I would recommend it to .
Greatest achievements
Being a travel advisor comes with many insider roles such as social media! Every retail store has their own facebook page, This will given you the chance to show off your latest offers, store events and colleague achievements such as long service or even a birthday post! Since I started the company, I really wanted to showcase TUI retail on my own social media platforms such as Tic Tok and Instagram. As mentioned before I was lucky to Jetset off to Cyprus on a retail educational trip! I showcased this on my social media showing my followers the different hotels I visited. I also was able to showcase TUI AIRWAYS and the aircraft I flew on which got a whopping 50 thousand views ! Since then I have become a TUI brand ambassador which has definitely been the highlight of my career. Being a TUI Brand ambassador gives me the chance to have my content featured on TUI's social media platforms . For example when I went to Jamaica with TUI CAN, Some of my content was featured on TUI's Instagram, This was such a proud moment for me.

Take on challenges head-on. Everyone has failed at some point and everyone will fail again. Just take time to reflect on the failures. It's the only way we can really grow as humans and evolve into the best possible version of ourselves. Having an environment that allows you to fail and learn gracefully is vital to being able to deliver the best possible work we can. This is something I really enjoy in my day-to-day work: I've never felt afraid to ask all my questions, no matter how stupid I felt they were and I was always met with respect and dignity.

Top Insider Advice
If you are in the early part of your career, my advice for you would be to keep your options much wider. You will be in a better place to identify your potential as you progress in your career, much similar to a practical experience as compared to the textbook knowledge. If you are already an experienced professional then my advice would be somewhat different. You should go after the job that doesn't feel like a job but something you love doing (... and then you never have to work again, as the quote goes). One of the important factors of loving what you do is to continuously learn new things because learning expands your limit of thinking and then the ability to organically take up new challenges. My other advice to anyone on the success path is to believe in self-potential. It is possible to achieve anything but only as long as we believe in our efforts and keep trying. If we don't fail then we didn't try, so it is perfectly fine to fail so long as we learn from failures.

I would like to think the key thing to remember is that we are individuals, and as individuals, we share a common passion for travel. My best advice to any potential candidate is BE YOURSELF! I have always brought my personality to work and always made friends all over the world in each destination I've worked in, to date. One other piece of advice I'd give, is use your nerves to your advantage; the reason we get nervous is because we are doing something far outside of our comfort zones. Starting a career with us means you'll eventually overcome those nerves the minute you step foot on the plane when you're travelling to your new destination. Keep an open mind, learn new languages, cultures, experience different things and you'll see just how big the world really is!
