Hi Milena, That's a very nice question! To begin with, during your season, there are oppenings for internal job opportunities, to other destinations with the same of different job roles, for the upcoming season. For example, in our team we had three colleagues (Airport Reps) joining the TUI Airport Teams in Tenerife and Gran Canaria! This is very important for them as well as for the team, as they will gain lots of experience in a different environment and culture. In addition, whilst your season is running, there's also the Accelerate Development Program (it is launching when the season is active) where you can participate, with your line manager's support. If you are successful, and if there are any positions available you can get an offer for a promotion(from the next season onwards). I have participated in an Accelerate Development Program and I can say that I have gained lots of experience and learned a great deal that have helped me progress and become a better colleague, as well as offer better service to our guests! Lastly, I would highly recommend you speak with your line manager. They will be more than happy to discuss with you, your possible career progressions within the company and offer you the support you need in order to succeed! From personal experience, my line manager has offered me some very valuable advice and a great mentor! Hope this answers your question. Let me know what you think. Ilias

Hi Ilias, Thank you so much. There were internal job opportunities and I wasn't placed on any of the jobs. I think this was due to the fact that I was employed on a local contract. I wish I knew about the Accelerate Development Program as this program could have helped me to continue my career with TUI. I spoke with my line manager many times about possible career progression and I was advised to apply from the TUI jobs website and that it was too early to apply for the winter season. At the end of my contract my Line Manager asked me to return my TUI uniform and devises, with no further advice on my TUI career progression and to update with my TUI job website search. I received thank you letter from the Destination manager for my hard work, contribution, effort, great performance and high achievements, offering me for next year Summer 23 Team and this is great. I am very happy that I enjoyed my job as Airport rep at TUI Bulgaria destination, it was unique experience working with TUI guests in a different environment and culture after my 15 years career with Sequence UK in London. The End of Season Party was great and me and my colleagues at Burgas Airport received a Certificate of appreciation for being experts in managing delayed flights. Kind regards Milena

Hi Milena, Thanks for your reply. I don't know if this was due to your contract type but I'm sorry that you didn't get a placement. Well, now that you know about the Accelerate Development Program, you know what you have to do! Maybe your line manager didn't understand what you wanted so I would recommend you speak with them again on your beginning of season, set an action plan and focus on that! When the season ends, returning devices and uniforms is a standard process. It's always nice to hear some good feedback for your hard work and great performance! Well done! It was a challenging season for all of us and since you had a nice time that means you really showcased you TUI Values to our guests and your team as well. I bet your team will be happy to have you again in Summer 23. To sum up, I would recommend you gather all the information you can get, in the TUI Jobs website and create job alerts for the roles you are interested in, both for Winter and Summer destinations. Use your available tools to gather some information for the Accelarate Development Program as well, and when you set your objectives for the next Summer season, discuss them with your line manager. You can create an action plan to help you keep up with your objectives. I hope you achieve your goals! Ilias
