Daphne C.
Sr. Cabin Crew Member/LFS
Hello,
The answer to your question might appear quite complicated as aviation is not a simple 9-5 office job.
Financial compensation:
- during the course our initial cabin crew members (short ini) will receive a basic salary and travel expenses.
- after the release flight our cabin crew members (ccm’s) receive their basic salary + a per diem per flight + overtime.
What is overtime I hear you asking me?
A full time contract has a flat rate of 62,5 hours, these are flying hours. If a ccm flies for example 90 hours (s)he will receive 27,5 hours overtime paid.
- Extra functions (instructor, LFS, coach,&) receive an extra fee each month.
If you apply HR will give you a more detailed simulation.
Benefits:
- In my opinion the greatest benefit is the fact that I have learnt so much, which in another function would have been impossible: working together, speaking different languages, meeting new people, visiting countries, learning about first aid just to name a few.
- after 6 months we have travel advantages
- on & offline learning
- and so much more.
I hope this answers your question!
Kind regards,
Daphne
