Hello, if it takes you one hour to get to the airport while you are having a standby duty it is fine! You can be called out of standby and have to be there within one hour in some cases. For flights you have already been scheduled on, it doesn’t matter how far you live. You will have enough time to reach the airport.
Kind regards,
Cindy

Hi,
Here a reply for our Belgian based candidates.
We have 2 types of standby, the first one: you have to be able to reach the airport within 45 min, the second one: you have 2 hours.
These standby types are known in advance and are in blocks of usually 6 hours.
Kind regards,
Daphne
