What do you like about your job and the company?
No day is alike, and in the Nordic office, we are "spiders in the web", seen as the destination experts, consulting our sales, trading, operations and media teams on all details of the hotels and destinations we work with. We ensure to have the best portfolio for our customers, to ensure they have a fantastic holiday, and we do need to visit the destinations every now and then to get new ideas and inspirations to build the future programs.
Greatest achievements
Thailand, one of TUI Nordics most important destinations, had among the toughest COVID restrictions in the world for tourists. Still in winter 21/22 we managed to keep operation our charter program in there. Through a lot of work, extremely detailed and careful information and instructions to the customers, and daily meetings with governments, tourist boards and our local teams to keep fully up to date on changes. In the end, we still managed to keep our operations going there, against the odds.

As Quality Assurance, we always work with that concept in mind: design, test, feedback. Don't stop any of these 3 things... ever. You can try everything; you can test and arrive to a result. If you manage to understand the potential to improve based on the result, you are in the right position to improve the quality. This will mean you have in mind the entire flow and things to improve. Don't stop yourself!

In a world where conformity often feels like the norm, your authenticity is your greatest strength. Staying true to yourself is not just important, it's your superpower. When you bring your true authentic self to work each day, you contribute to a diverse and vibrant team culture where everyone's unique strengths and perspectives are celebrated. Being true to yourself means embracing your values, passions, and quirks without fear of judgement. It means speaking up with honesty and integrity, even when it's difficult. When you stay true to who you are, you inspire others to do the same, fostering a culture of trust and openness. We value authenticity not only because it makes our workplace more enjoyable and fulfilling but also because it drives innovation and creativity. When team members feel empowered to express themselves authentically, they bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the table, sparking creativity and driving us forward. Moreover, authenticity is contagious. When you lead by example and show up as your authentic self, you encourage others to do the same. This creates a ripple effect throughout the organisation, strengthening bonds between team members and fostering a sense of belonging. Come As You Are and bring your whole self to work, and together, we'll unleash our collective superpower, driving success and making a positive impact in everything we do.

I'm the sort of person that says "go for it" and "what's the worst that can happen?" I struggled for years not being able to get my foot in the (creative) door. I wound up managing a kitchen for a large pub chain - which is an absolutely fine career, but it simply wasn't for me. I started to apply to every role and opportunity that could offer me some experience to add to my CV - this included assisting photographers hang their work for upcoming exhibitions and photographing charity events for PR assets - all in my spare time. All of this rather random experience allowed me to start understanding which avenues I'd like to explore for my career. That career ended up beginning at TUI and i've never looked back.
