In short, it really depends on what your role entails. As Hotel Operations Support Manager, I get to travel quite regularly at least once every 2-3 months. These are normally ship based visits, however as part of my role looks after the operations or the turnarounds (when all our customers embark and disembark) I will often need to do site visits to see the operation in action. Following this I'd be expected to give feedback and offer solutions on how we can make improvements to the overall customer experience.
