Hi Kenneth, roles at TUI can be on site, remote and flexible. Speaking about my role, I am pretty flexible when & where I am working. We can even work from abroad for a month :). If you want to know more about that, check our Workation posts on the career site. But in a normal business week, let's say that I averagely work 2 days from the office and 3 days from home.

In my daily work, I am working currently 3 days at the office and 3 days at home here in Palma de Mallorca. Working from home gives you more freedom and it is more comfortable just staying at home, not having to take you all the way to the office. The policy of working from home is that you of course have to be sitting in a desk area and not lying in your bed.

Hi Kevin, thanks for the reply. I actually live in Spain (Mallorca) and work from home as the normal but I am investigating looking at other industries. Mallorca being a holiday destination, it makes sense to look at tourism for work. Do you have any advice, where can I send my C.V. pertaining to these "Workation" posts.

Hi Kenneth, the "Workation" program is for those of us who want to work from abroad for max. 1 month a year. Hearing your requests and needs, I advise you to just look for a role you like and ask if a flexible or fully remote contract is possible. The Headquarters of TUI Musement are located in Mallorca, so possible they have a role as well that might suit your needs. Due to Data Protection we cannot accept CVs only but instead you have to apply for one of our advertised roles on our website. The best of luck!

Hi..
There are also other ways that you can be flexible in your work. Being a hotel or an airport rep, which means you are on a guest facing role, you need to be flexible. For example you don't have to be present all the time to provide exceptional service as you might manage to arrange something for the guests over the phone or digitally.
Also, in order to go the extra (s)mile, you might have to be flexible enough and do something that is not under your role's responsibilities but you know you can do it and it will satisfy the guest's expectation. And a top tip that I have come across is that when guests are happy with our service, this makes us even more happy which also helps us improve our performance.
