Service Delivery Team Manager
Hi. Generally speaking, the training provided depends on the job role. Here are a few examples.
Before the start of every season, our service reps and contact centre agents would all do what we internally call the Smiles Academy. This is a training course that looks different depending on if you are experienced or new to the company. Some days there will be training delivered in the classroom, other days you are out and about exploring the destination. Of course, our reps working in resort will need to see our main experiences and excursions with their own eyes to be able to tell our guests all about them.
Our childcare, fitness and entertainment colleagues will have dedicated training tailored to the job role they are going to do. Many of these roles are based within our bigger concept units. Therefore, we would also make sure that all these colleagues are up to date with what we want to deliver when it comes to the TUI concept standards, and how we are all united as one team working towards to same goals.
This was just to mention a few of our most common roles. Of course, there are loads of different job roles and opportunities within TUI. As said, the training looks different depending on your job role and department. However, what I can say is common for all job roles is that you will have relevant training and feel ready to start your new job before you go live. The training is normally also a fun period of time where you really get to spend time and bond with your future colleagues.
Hope this could help you a bit, and feel free to reach out again for any further queries.
