Additional information

I had my interview on Tuesday and was told I was successful for a blue guide position. I had an email today regarding my placement with an aprox start date on the 13th March. The lovely lady who interviewed me said I would start the 1st March. The reason for my question is my aprox start dates suggests it will be the 13th March but am I likely to be needed to fly out before that date or will it be that date? Only asking as need to give 10 weeks notice in my current job so need to make sure I put it in soon and also give myself the correct timing. So excited now!

Hi and thank you for your message. During interviews a guideline start date is discussed as the beginning of March or the beginning of April as this really varies from destination to destination. You should be guided by your approx. start date but again this could vary slightly so give yourself an extra 7-10 days on top of your approx. start date just to be sure.
