Hi Richelle, Every day if different and thats the amazing thing. You will normally go to the hotels during the morning (09:00) have breakfast while chatting with theg guests. you then stay until around 13:00 have a bit of sieasta and are back for the afternoon for 3-4H. Some areas/hotels are work through, so you stay the whole day from 09 - 16:00 and join in on everything in the hotels, like acteveties while being there for the guests solving issues and selling trips

You will get a chance to ask for a destination, we normally aplly for both winter and summer once a year and are then placed depending on where we would fit in best and our skils

Hope it helped

Hello Richelle. As an airport rep, you will be in a fast paced environment. We are the first and last point of contact of our guests and we are there to make sure they have a great start or a memorable end of their holiday. This means that details matter at the airport but the good thing is that when your shift is over then you can relax for the day.
Regarding shifts and the rota, well this may vary from airport to airport and the destination due to different flight schedules etc.
All in all, it's really fun and exciting, everyday is a new day with different challenges!
I'd say have a go at either role, you'll enjoy it!

How is it managed as an airport rep? are you there only for guests from one paticulair flight or to pick up guests from multiple flights
?

Can you combine those 2 roles? So you work 3 days as an hotel rep and 2 as an airport rep for example?

In some destinations it is combined. Especially for the Ski reps in winter. So yeah you can, Richelle!

Hi Richelle, you can't combine them as such, however you may be asked to help out a couple of days a week at the airport in the summer or for ski destinations, you may be allocated a shift at the airport to help the team out on our busy arrival days

Your question is also based on destination Marielle. For example here in Heraklion, Crete we have guests pretty much from all TUI source markets. We have guests from Poland, Belgium, NL, UK & Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France.
We will welcome and take good care of all guests regardless the languages they or we speak. They still are our guests and we are working as one team.

Of course we will make sure we have colleagues who speak the guests' language in case they don't speak English for example but our primary goal is to make sure we are there to make sure they have a seamless airport experience.

Thank you for your answers. Chrys said that you can ask for a destination and they will place you where you fit in best. But can you also give destinations where you don't want to go?

Hey Marielle, exactly - you can request a destination but it is never guaranteed, especially this time of year it would be where you're needed most as it's coming into high season :)

You can certainly name destinations which you do not want to go.
