TUI Airways Cabin Crew Requirements

  • You must be 18 years of age on the first day of your new entrant course.
  • You must be able to reach a height of 6 ft 2 in (1.89 m), with bare feet flat on the floor.
  • You must be able to perform all regulatory duties, including sitting in and fully fastening an aircraft over-shoulder jump-seat harness.
  • You must be able to swim at least 25 metres.
  • You must be willing to undertake Psychoactive Testing and a UK CAA Cabin Crew Medical throughout your employment.
  • You must be able to understand, speak, and write English to a level equivalent to CEFR B2 or ILR L3.
  • You must be able to work shifts across a 24/7 flight programme and report to Base in uniform within 90 minutes.
  • You must hold a valid UK or Irish passport with at least 6 months’ validity, as well as any required visas for travel.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo background security checks, meet all positive vetting requirements, and provide proof of required vaccinations in line with company and regulatory guidelines.



TUI Airport Representative Requirements

  • Customer-centric approach with a passion for travel and delivering exceptional customer service, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Enjoy representing a globally recognised brand and supporting customers face-to-face.
  • Experience managing challenging conversations with customers in person.
  • Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and use your own initiative, alongside confidence to escalate incidents when necessary.
  • Confident using technology and navigating systems that support both customer needs and personal development.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Able to obtain a full and valid Airside ID. This requires a UK Disclosure and Barring Service check, supported by five years of verifiable employment or education history.
  • Must be 18 years of age before the start date (verified during the recruitment process).
  • Must be able to travel to and from the airport on a 24-hour basis by car or public transport.
