Hi, Siem!
Thank you for your question!
For any of our entertainment roles we are looking for energetic and motivated candidates to join our teams. It's important that we can see the passion for entertaining in any way or form and that our candidates are willing to learn new things.
From experience, the best entertainers I have worked with have been the people who are not scared of making a fool out of themselves and has the confidence to be themselves at all times. And what some might call a little 'craziness' goes a long way in this role especially.
Of course, there are many aspect to this job where experience can be of help. But with that said, there is a learning curve as with any job so we do not expect everyone to be a brilliant entertainer from the very beginning. That's what we want to teach you!
I started my journey with TUI as a fitness host. I am naturally very energetic, both physically, and with my voice, so guests in resort often tend to ask me how many coffees or redbulls I have had that day...
As a fitness host I also did entertainment in the evenings on stage. I realized how fun that was and that I could use my experience as a fitness host to be a great entertainer. I soon worked my way into Entertainment Teamleader and that is still what I do to this day. I love this job and wouldn't want to do anything else.
Anyone over 18 years can apply for our entertainer roles. Keep an eye out on https://careers.tuigroup.com/holiday-destination-jobs/ for all our job offers.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
