Fintech Visionary: Transforming Payment Experiences Across Borders

My background is in FinTech – I have held positions in Product & Integration teams delivering payment solutions to clients, providing technical integration support, and accrediting 3rd party payment integrations. Transitioning from FinTech to Travel meant I had to look at Payments from the client’s side – from determining which payment methods provide the most value to TUI customers and the business, the cost benefits and ensuring we work closely with PPSs/Acquirers and any other payment partners to maximise our payment offerings to customers globally. I have always been ambitious and strived for more for my career and personal development. I have taken on new challenges that expand my knowledge and expertise, supporting my career growth. I enjoy learning and being in a position that allows me to make a difference!

Technology Team Lead in Payments

As a Technology Team Lead, my role involves me primarily supporting my cross functional team of Developers, Apprentices, QA to deliver new payment methods globally, maintain our Payments platform and support their own professional development. I also work closely with business stakeholders, Solutions Architects, POs and BAs to ensure business requirements are gathered, assessed to ensure we can deliver from a technology perspective.

Belgium & Netherlands - Fully Onboarded!

My greatest achievement to date at TUI was supporting the teams migrate Belgium & Netherlands onto our Future Payments Platform! This was a great experience which was challenging at times, but I have had the opportunity to expand my network at TUI as well as learn more about the payment processing journey within these regions ranging from capabilities to user preferences for specific payment methods!
