You need to be social in this role, many people are depending on you, but your performance are also depending on alot of other people. Building relationships, and creating strong contacts, internally in the company and with our partners are key to success. Always be curious, and update yourself on travel trends in the markets - somewhere there, might just be the perfect product for the future.

The most important thing I have learnt working at TUI is the importance of being genuine and bringing your personality to work - it makes you feel a lot better and as everyone is treated as an individual and allows teammates to understand what works best for you. TUI as a company is incredibly supportive of this as well, and it helps to make you feel like you belong in the team and makes it more than just work.

I have never experienced a colleague saying "no", when I reached out for help, because I didn't understand or know something or had difficulties managing my work. We are all one big team, and everyone keeps looking out for each other, which is something I really missed at my last workplace. Also I feel comfortable really showing myself the way I am. I do not have to act up a persona, to fit the company, but can really be myself, as well as the colleagues can be themselves. Don't put up an act and present yourselves the way you are. You won't regret showing your true colors.
