I would like to think the key thing to remember is that we are individuals, and as individuals, we share a common passion for travel. My best advice to any potential candidate is BE YOURSELF! I have always brought my personality to work and always made friends all over the world in each destination I've worked in, to date. One other piece of advice I'd give, is use your nerves to your advantage; the reason we get nervous is because we are doing something far outside of our comfort zones. Starting a career with us means you'll eventually overcome those nerves the minute you step foot on the plane when you're travelling to your new destination. Keep an open mind, learn new languages, cultures, experience different things and you'll see just how big the world really is!

What do you like about your job and the company?
The reason I enjoy what I do in my current position is because we all come from a plethora of different cultures, ways of life and backgrounds so it's nice to spend each day getting to know different people and what motivates them. I want to know what makes each candidate 'tick' and what they can bring to the role from their own personal experiences to really ensure they'd get the most out of their role with us.
Greatest achievements
My greatest achievement would be completing the accelerate program back in summer 2018 in order to make the jump from rep to team leader. I have always been a leader in many different situations in my life; TUI has given me the opportunity to move up the ladder and be able to independently run a team of anywhere between 3 to 10 reps in both summer and winter destinations. I'm proud of one achievement in particular and that is finally learning to ski. I had the opportunity to do this when I worked my first winter in France for our Crystal Ski brand so the opportunities and possibilities whilst working for TUI, really are endless.

No matter the role you are applying for within TUI, just be yourself and bring your personality with you. We take a large cross section of the social community and of customers on holiday so equally its important that our colleagues and you feel comfortable in liaising and interacting with them. When I started in the role it was very different, where each crew member was like another but over the years and the transformation of TUI we have learnt that being different and unique is why our customers keep booking with us. Bringing you personality means you can interact in a way that customers enjoy, being respectful and professional does not mean you cant build a rapport and enjoy your working day with us. These skills will also enhance as you progress through your career with TUI, with each role allowing you to explore more about the differences we can make to our colleagues and customers.

Be who you want to be. I put the time in to build myself in my career and even now I am still growing. The support and help I've got around me means I have constant help to get me where I want in my career. Even if you don't want to progress up within your role, the support is there as and when needed. Happiness is key within a career, if you aren't happy in what you are doing then it's probably not a role for you. But when you are happy in your role then that will radiate off of you.
